Young/Sommer LLC Highly Ranked in Chambers USA for Ninth Year in a Row

Two partners in the New York State law firm Young/Sommer LLC have been recognized as leading lawyers for businesses in America by Chambers USA.
Young, Sommer, Ward, Ritzenberg, Baker & Moore LLC is listed as one of the top seven Environmental firms in New York in the Chambers USA directory of the legal profession. It is the ninth consecutive year that Young/Sommer has placed among the top ten New York State Environmental firms in the legal guide. The Chambers USA listing states that Young/Sommer is “noted for its ability to take on complicated environmental litigation, including Superfund cases” and quotes sources as stating that Young/Sommer has “very strong lawyers who do great work” and are “top quality.”
Attorneys Dean Sommer and Kevin Young were recognized in the Chambers USA listing, stating that Dean Sommer “is known as a brownfield expert” and is “a sharply skilled, fast-thinking attorney.” Kevin Young is noted as “frequently counsel[ing] municipalities on land use and environmental regulations including enforcement matters and environmental audits.” Mr. Sommer is listed among the top four New York State Environmental Law “Leading Individuals”.
